Work: undamental human right

The general objective of the research was to analyze labor as a fundamental human right. The method of the research was based on the qualitative approach, managing the collection and analysis of a documentary-bibliographic typology. An analytical-reflexive process was generated, contributing to the generation of the extension of the state of the art. As a research technique, the semi-structured interview was used; by means of the instrument elaborated: an interview guide, data were reheated from the criteria of key informants conformed by law professionals, in the city of Ibarra, in the period between May and September 2024.it is concluded that, the existence of situations that evidence the violation of the right to work in different regions in which unemployment, informal work and labor exploitation are faced, which essentially affects vulnerable groups such as women, young people, people with disabilities or the elderly.
