State responsibility for inadequate comprehensive reparations to victims of gender-based violence

The general objective of the research was to legally analyze the responsibility of the state for inadequate comprehensive reparation for victims of gender-based violence. This research used the quantitative method, which produces descriptive data that originate from data collection. It was based on a documentary-bibliographic review. In addition, the inductive-deductive method was used. The analytical-synthetic method was also used. It is concluded that comprehensive reparation is a constitutional right that aims to restore the victim as far as possible to his or her previous situation, to repair the violation of rights and, when it is not possible, to rehabilitate or compensate for damages in order to reduce the effects and consequences of the violation.
