Prevention of the theft of telephone networks of the national telecommunications corporation, Ecuador

The general objective of the research was to legally analyze the prevention of the theft of telephone networks of the National Telecommunications Corporation, Ecuador. The present research used the quantitative method which produces descriptive data, originating from data collection. Supported by the documentary-bibliographic review. In addition, the inductive-deductive method was applied. The analytical-synthetic method was also used. It is concluded that the security measures implemented to prevent the theft of telephone networks of the National Telecommunications Corporation, caused by homeless people in the Metropolitan District of Guayaquil, have consisted of physically reinforcing them by means of steel or welding; the recovery and defense of the underground space by the population through awareness campaigns.
