Abstract

Objective: To evaluate the efficacy of carrots as a positive reinforcer in the modification of specific behaviors in hamsters. Method: Experimental research. Conclusion: the last day of training in which the pleasant and unpleasant foods of the experimental subject were used, to identify which of these conditionings pleased the hamster more and which of these displeased it. At 19 seconds we got the carrot and at 24 seconds we got the bell pepper. So it can be said that the food that the experimental subject likes the most is the carrot, having an excellent run time on the last day of training. However, it can be observed that the food with the least time of the experimental subject is the carrot, which has an excellent run time on the last day of training.
