Ansiedad y depresión en estudiantes de psicología

Objetivo: Evaluar los niveles de ansiedad y depresión de los estudiantes de la carrera de psicología en Uniandes. Método: Descriptivo observacional, la población fue de 88 estudiantes de la carrera de psicología de UNIANDES. Resultados: Los resultados reflejan una gran variabilidad de grados de depresión, existe muy poca diferencia entre no deprimido y depresión leve, a pesar de ello, la depresión Severa y Moderada sobresalen, el análisis de la media aritmética corresponde a M = 12,107, lo que refleja una depresión menor en los sujetos. Conclusión: La elevada prevalencia de ansiedad y depresión entre los estudiantes de psicología resalta la necesidad urgente de intervenciones específicas dentro de los programas académicos que aborden estos trastornos de manera proactiva. Dada la naturaleza introspectiva y emocionalmente exigente de su formación, estos estudiantes enfrentan desafíos únicos que pueden aumentar su vulnerabilidad a problemas de salud mental.
