Los gatos como mecanismo de acompañamiento terapéutico frente al duelo en adolescentes

Objetivo: Identificar el tipo de acompañamiento terapéutico que reciben las personas frente al duelo con un gato. Método: Descriptivo documental. Conclusión: La pérdida de un gato puede desencadenar un duelo profundo y complejo, que requiere un acompañamiento terapéutico especializado y sensible a las particularidades del vínculo humano-animal. Este análisis subraya la importancia de validar el dolor, reconocer los vínculos continuos y adaptar las estrategias de afrontamiento a las necesidades individuales y culturales del doliente. Reconocer y abordar de manera efectiva el duelo por la pérdida de un gato es esencial para proporcionar un apoyo genuino y compasivo a quienes enfrentan esta experiencia.
