Abstract

Objective: To analyze the discourse on the use of traditional medicine in generation Y and Z. Method: descriptive documentary. Conclusion: The analysis of the discourse on the use of traditional medicine among generations Y and Z reveals a complex intersection between tradition and modernity, where these generations not only value ancestral practices for their cultural connection and sustainability, but also integrate them with digital technologies and contemporary approaches to health. This growing interest underscores the need to continue to explore how traditional medicine can be safely and effectively incorporated into current healthcare systems while respecting the preferences and values of these generations. The coexistence of both approaches could offer a more holistic health care model tailored to the needs and expectations of the emerging generations.
