Pedagogical transformational leadership for Ecuadorian education

Abstract

The general objective of the research was to analyze the transformational pedagogical leadership for Ecuadorian education. It is based on the positivist paradigm and quantitative approach, supported by a documentary-bibliographic design, through exploration, collection and critical analysis by means of search, reflection and analysis; constructing methods related to the discernment of the phenomenon and thus evaluate or consider new contexts. In addition, documentary sources at the theoretical level and refereed works related to the central aspects of the work were reviewed and analyzed. The techniques used to interpret the research included content analysis of the information collected, which allowed the formulation of results. It is concluded that educational establishments and university institutions are called to stipulate transformations, innovations, enthusiasm, optimism, leadership to propitiate continuous innovative improvements in the contents of plans, programs and pedagogical skills, these essential changes have to be incorporated in all academic units.
