Restorative justice in the Ecuadorian legislation in the expedited procedure of violence against women

The general objective of the research was to legally analyze restorative justice in Ecuadorian law in the expedited procedure of violence against women. The present research used the quantitative method which produces descriptive data, originating from data collection. It was supported by the documentary-bibliographic review. In addition, the inductive-deductive method was applied. The analytical-synthetic method was also used. Likewise, a survey was applied to twenty law professionals in free practice in the city of Ambato. It is concluded that, restorative justice is a new paradigm of application of the criminal procedural system, within this, it has been demonstrated that the restorative justice approach encompasses totally different edges to the traditional retributive justice, as has been demonstrated in the research.
