Infringement of the right to appeal in contraventions committed by adolescent offenders

The general objective of the research was to legally analyze the violation of the right of recourse in contraventions committed by adolescent offenders. It was carried out from the quantitative paradigm, working with a documentary descriptive methodology with a bibliographic design, allowing to investigate in bibliographic and legal sources, articulating a theoretical reflective body as a contribution to strengthening the legal-theoretical basis of law, the technique of content analysis as a strategy to scrutinize the original message in a reasoned interpretation of the researcher, incorporating the generation of new proposals of logical and coherent support on the object of study. It is concluded that the right to appeal constitutes a guarantee of defense that supports the double conformity; it is a right recognized in international human rights instruments and in the Constitution of the Republic of Ecuador, therefore, this right of direct and immediate application and prevails over any other of the legal system.
