Manifestaciones orales en pacientes con VIH-SIDA: un análisis de los signos, síntomas y abordajes terapéuticos

Objetivo: Analizar las manifestaciones orales en pacientes con VIH-SIDA: Un análisis de los signos, síntomas y abordajes terapéuticos. Método: Descriptiva documental, se revisaron 16 articulos publicados en PubMed, Scopus. Conclusión: Las manifestaciones orales en pacientes con VIH-SIDA son indicadores clave del estado inmunológico, estrechamente relacionadas con el conteo de células CD4. La candidiasis oral, la leucoplasia vellosa y las úlceras aftosas son las manifestaciones más comunes, especialmente en pacientes con inmunosupresión avanzada. El tratamiento antirretroviral altamente activo (HAART) ha demostrado ser efectivo en la reducción de estas complicaciones, mejorando significativamente la calidad de vida de los pacientes.
