Halitosis: causas multifactoriales y su impacto en la salud oral

Objetivo: Analizar la halitosis, causas multifactoriales y su impacto en la salud oral. Método: Descriptiva documental, se revisaron 15 articulos publicados en PubMed, Scopus. Conclusión: La halitosis es una condición multifactorial que no solo afecta la salud oral, sino también la calidad de vida de quienes la padecen, debido a su impacto social y psicológico. Si bien existen diversas causas subyacentes, tanto locales como sistémicas, el diagnóstico adecuado y el tratamiento personalizado son clave para abordar el problema de manera efectiva.
