Beneficio del uso del flúor en pacientes pediátricos

Resumen

Objetivo: Analizar los beneficios del uso del flúor en pacientes pediátricos de 3 a 6 años. Método: Descriptivo documental, se analizaron 15 articulos ubicados en PubMed, Scopus. Conclusión: El uso del flúor en la prevención de caries en pacientes pediátricos sigue siendo una estrategia fundamental en la odontología preventiva, respaldada por su eficacia comprobada en diversas modalidades terapéuticas, como enjuagues, barnices y fluoruro diamino de plata. Los estudios destacan la importancia de personalizar las intervenciones según las necesidades individuales de los pacientes.
