Abstract

Objective: Analyze the importance of pelvimetry and factor with an indicator of cephalic-pelvic disproportion. Method: The method used in this research is the bibliographic review, since it is a written text whose purpose is to present a synthesis of the readings carried out during the documentary research phase, followed by some conclusions or a discussion. Results and conclusions: Pelvimetry is extremely important at the time of labor since it is a method that as a result can detect the pelvis for a labor with which the gynecoid pelvis is the best or ideal for a vaginal delivery. The problems that can occur in the birth in the fetus, the diseases produce an excessive increase in the development of different factors that are produced by the mother and there are risks in the pelvic-cephalic disproportion has to put at risk in the birth of the fetus with which the limbs of the fetus as hydrocephalus with the increase of the skull.
