Pedagogical strategies in the transformation of solid waste and conservation of the environment

The objective of this research was to establish the pedagogical strategies in the process of transformation of solid waste with the fifth grade students of the Institución Educativa Distrital Normal Superior María Auxiliadora, by means of the different types, for the conservation of the environment. The design of the research is framed in a methodology with a qualitative approach of action-research type in the process of transformation of solid waste in the 36 participants, for scientific research, creativity and conservation of the environment, carrying out a workshop to strengthen environmental awareness, from the pedagogy. It is concluded that the implementation of cognitive, metacognitive, technological, socio-affective pedagogical strategies, and in particular the playfulness as a dynamizer for the transformation of solid waste identified in the school environment, allowed the acquisition of significant learning that led to the empowerment of environmental awareness for the care of the common home.
