The present study, based on a cross-sectional descriptive quantitative research approach, has as its main objective to analyze and suggest corrections through a kinematic analysis in the volleyball shot technique in a female group of the youth category of the Club Atenas in Cuenca city, applying a biomechanical analysis of the angular variation parameters in elbow, shoulder, knee; hand speed at the moment of impact with the ball and jump height. The results showed an average in the sub-phase of the brake step of 0.9m; in the angle of the shoulder in extension an average of 55.6 ° in the same phase and an average of 51.8cm in height in the jump phase that could be improved. The study was socialized with the volleyball players so that they know the characteristics of the movements and can achieve improvements in their performance.
