Abstract

The present investigation deals with the motor behaviors of schoolchildren and their relationship with socio-affective capacities, the objective was to determine if the socio-affective capacities of students interfere with motor behaviors. The study has a cross-sectional, comparative, descriptive, quantitative approach. The instruments used the MIFA questionnaire and the Affective Balance Scale (EBA). The population that was part of the research was made up of 100 students belonging to the eighth year of EGB from the “Luis Cordero” educational unit in the city of Azogues. The results reveal that; 63% of the students indicate that they fully agree to practice some type of sport outside of physical education hours. It is concluded that there is an evident relationship between physical activity, their health and their motor skills.
