Formal and material equality in forced migration

The general objective of the research was to legally analyze formal and material equality in forced migration. This inquiry used the qualitative approach as a methodology, making use of several bibliographic and documentary sources in order to obtain real and updated information to achieve the objective set out in relation to the legal problem under analysis. The following analytical-synthetic methods were used since with this it was possible to generate a superior knowledge since additional knowledge was added to previous concepts and the inductive method. Interviews were conducted with a migrant and two expert lawyers. It is concluded that the first change that should be implemented is the use of strategies to give a voice to migrants who are in the country in vulnerable situations, implementing public policies that give rise to the defense of human rights and free human mobility and that go according to the legal regime.
