Process of knowledge within an ordinary lawsuit of extraordinary acquisitive prescription of dominion

The general objective was to legally analyze the process of knowledge within an ordinary trial of extraordinary acquisitive prescription of ownership. The method used in the research was based on the qualitative approach, using the collection and analysis of a documentary-bibliographic typology. The technique developed was the interview; the tool or instrument that supported the interview guide. An analytical-reflexive process was generated. It is concluded that it is necessary to create information on the extraordinary acquisitive prescription of ownership, as there is a certain fundamental lack of knowledge in the parish of González Suarez, belonging to the canton of Otavalo in the province of Imbabura. It should be considered that if the owners of a property have abandoned it for more than 10 years.
