Critical legal analysis of the right to resistance and legal security, Ecuador

The general objective of the research was the critical legal analysis of the right to resistance and legal security, Ecuador. The researchers proposed as a method the quantitative approach, through the exploration, collection and critical analysis from a documentary typology, supported by the bibliographic design, related to the judgment of the phenomenon and thus evaluate or discuss new arguments. In this regard, documentary sources such as theses and refereed works were examined and analyzed. In addition, a questionnaire was applied to 93 lawyers in free practice registered in the forum of lawyers of the province of Tungurahua. It is concluded that the inapplicability of the right to resistance is a matter of great concern due to the seriousness of the acts that are derived from it, the violation of constitutional guarantees, the abandonment of the person or group of persons who invoke it.
