Intimidating behavior in the student-teacher power relationship at the university level

Abstract

The general objective of this research was to legally analyze the intimidating behavior of the student-teacher power relationship at the university level. It is based on a quantitative, documentary-bibliographic perspective. This in view of the fact that from the documentary review and the study of the observed social reality it was possible to infer reflective conclusions by the researchers, from the analysis of theses, scientific articles, norms and laws related to the topic of study. It is concluded that, the power relationship between the teacher and the student was established with the purpose of forming professional citizens, through the construction of learning, however, at present new circumstances have arisen that have negatively affected students, using bullying behaviors with the teaching staff to obtain a favorable result in the approval of the semester, HEIs should pay attention to cases of bullying.
