Abstract

Objective: To analyze education on the use of contraceptive methods in adolescence. Method: Descriptive documentary. Conclusion: Education in the use of contraceptive methods during adolescence is a fundamental pillar for the promotion of sexual and reproductive health, being crucial to reduce the prevalence of unplanned pregnancies and exposure to sexually transmitted diseases. Studies show that factors such as lack of access to adequate information, cultural influence and pressure from partners hinder contraceptive adoption.
