Abstract

Objective: Based on analyzing the degree of knowledge of the respondents about oral health and its main care. Method: Descriptive observational. Results: 63.9% (n=147) responded that in the last year they had discomfort in the teeth, 9.1% (n=21) responded that in the last year they had discomfort in the tongue, 24.8% (n=57) responded that in the last year they had discomfort in the jaw. Conclusion: The level of importance that people give to oral hygiene is significant, but there is no interest in adapting good oral hygiene habits to their lifestyle, even if this is a solution to future oral health problems. Respondents' knowledge about oral health and its main care has a strong influence on their lifestyle and social status.
