Revisión sistemática del uso de fibrina rica en plaquetas para el tratamiento de recesión gingival

Objetivo: Analizar el tratamiento de recesión gingival, mediante el uso de fibrinas rica en plaquetas FRP como coadyuvante del injerto de tejido conectivo, por medio de la comparación de artículos científicos. Método: Búsqueda bibliográfica en la base de datos PubMed y Scielo. Resultados: Los estudios han evidenciado que la Fibrina rica en Plaquetas tiene potencial para reducir síntomas postoperatorios y acelerar la curación a través de la estimulación de angio-génesis y biosíntesis de matrices. Gracias a su potencial regenerativo, las membranas PRF son una alternativa prometedora a la autogestión de injertos gingivales, con resultados alentadores en los casos de cobertura radicular. Conclusión: El uso de Fibrina rica en plaquetas en odontología se ha vuelto popular y ha sido utilizado para tratar la recesión gingival debido a su potencial para mejorar la cicatrización de herida liberando un gran número de factores de crecimiento y citocinas plaquetarias.
