Objective: To analyze the oral health knowledge of the population of the city of Ambato of all ages. Method: Descriptive observational. Conclusion: The study population exhibits acceptable knowledge, it is worrying that more than 80% of them are confused about how fluoride acts in the oral cavity. Also of concern is the fact that more than one third of the people believed that tooth loss was inevitable and that gingival bleeding occurred naturally as the teeth grew.
