Abstract

Objective: To determine the level of sexual education that young people have, through this research to identify the problems that exist around the subject. Method: Descriptive observational. Results: 51.31% (n=98) are women, 47.64% (n=91) are men and 1.05% (n=2) prefer not to say. Conclusion: Correct information on sexuality is fundamental for young people to maintain a conscious and healthy sexuality, in which their parents play a fundamental role because they must provide the main basis for this information. Schools should also give talks or have a subject that is responsible for complementing, expanding and explaining more important details, apart from those taught at home, which are necessary in order to prevent consequences such as unplanned pregnancies, sexually transmitted diseases, among others.
