Abstract

Objective: To analyze risk factors for sexually transmitted infections in adolescents. Method: Descriptive observational study. Results: 65% of those surveyed stated that they did not know in depth about STIs and their health risk factors. Conclusion: STIs in adolescents are still a major problem in society, so it is a priority to prepare them to use contraceptive methods and to provide them with adequate information on the risks of STI infection.
