Perspectiva del paciente sobre el tratamiento de ortodoncia

Objetivo: Analizar la perspectiva del paciente sobre el tratamiento de ortodoncia. Método: Descriptiva documental, se trabajó con una población de 15 articulos científicos publicados en PubMed. Conclusión: La perspectiva del paciente sobre el tratamiento de ortodoncia es multifacética e influenciada por diversas expectativas y experiencias. Para mejorar la satisfacción y los resultados del tratamiento, es fundamental una comunicación efectiva entre ortodoncistas y pacientes, una gestión adecuada de las expectativas y un apoyo constante a lo largo del proceso. Futuras investigaciones deberían enfocarse en desarrollar y evaluar intervenciones que mejoren la experiencia del paciente y optimicen los resultados del tratamiento ortodóntico.
