This research aims to propose a supply chain model that is supported by blockchain technology through the development of smart contracts. Functional specifications are established that comply with the proposal through the selection of technological tools, for the construction of a smart contract where its distribution is specified as structures, state variables, and functions, which provide a solution to the requirements of the model based to an example made in the pharmaceutical sector. Simulating the interaction within a test Ethereum network in order to analyze the traceability flow of a product, through the intervention of participants within the supply chain such as manufacturers, suppliers or customers.
