Knowledge transfer in early childhood education teaching practice, Colombia

The general objective of the research was to analyze the transfer of knowledge in the teaching practice of early childhood education, Colombia, from a quantitative perspective, through the recovery, compilation and critical analysis of documentary and bibliographic references. In this sense, from a documentary bibliographic design, the researchers carried out a research process where the study population was based basically on written documents such as refereed papers, agreements, among others. In addition, the analytical-synthetic and inductive-deductive methods were used. It is concluded that, within the context of initial education of higher education in the municipality of Maicao, department of La Guajira, Colombia, it is very feasible that the mechanisms of knowledge transfer, such as serial, close, distant, strategic and expert, could be raised effectively, considering that teachers may be able to use the knowledge of others for the achievement of institutional objectives.
