Work motivation and its relationship with the work performance of employees in the administration area

Abstract

The objective of this study was to determine the relationship between work motivation and the work performance of employees in the administration area of the UGEL Huarmey. The type of study was descriptive and a non-experimental research design, the population consisted of 20 collaborators of the administration area of the UGEL Huarmey. There was a moderate positive relationship Rho = 0.812 between work motivation and work performance, and the proposed hypothesis was demonstrated, confirming the presence of a significant relationship in the study. A technique that favors employee motivation is to promote participation under a consensus of the decisions taken by the organization that involve the employees through suggestions, consultation of opinions, task evaluation instruments, workshops that encourage creativity and personal initiative; the participation of employees fosters trust.
