Social factors in gender violence: A proposal for the empowerment of women

The objective is to analyze the social factors that affect gender violence: a proposal for empowerment towards women in Cuenca - Ecuador. The research was descriptive, where it allowed to describe the dependent and independent variables, with a bibliographic approach, with the use of the bibliographic technique. There is no doubt that the origin of the problem of gender violence lies in the cultural pattern that places men and women in different roles within the family, the distribution of tasks within it, and the traditional consideration of women as a person low class in social life. Existing proposals to eradicate this problem, however, the intervention is still in the fight together with the different interventions and bibliographical bases that raise them.
