The objective of the research is to know the current health regulations in Ecuador in relation to women's reproductive care, guaranteeing the application of human rights and access to health, as well as the professionals who are part of the gynecological-obstetrician medical assistance. A descriptive type of research with documentary review was applied. In Ecuador there is no legislative unanimity to eradicate gynecological-obstetric violence, that is to say, there are no norms that sanction such conduct, there is no article in the integral organic penal code that condemns those who commit acts of maternal violence, although it is true that these practices are prohibited, but not condemned. What we find in the Ecuadorian legal system are scattered laws, such as administrative sanctions for public servants for not exercising their profession in accordance with the law and professional ethics.
