The objective was to analyze the knowledge from the point of view of students and teachers of the Dentistry career of the Universidad Católica de Cuenca Campus Azogues. Under a quantitative, descriptive and transversal approach, by means of a validated digital survey, obtaining 28 responses from teachers and 43 students. The descriptive statistics presented frequency tables, and the inferential Chi test. The results presented it as a tool for didactic purposes (50.74%), it serves to dynamize teaching (47.89%) from the teachers' point of view (44%), in the case of students they do not have a specific idea about its function (82%), but they consider it useful for didactic purposes (66%). The evidenced will allow presenting an innovative proposal for its application, as it has been considered in other academic scenarios, demonstrating that it is possible to improve the transmission of knowledge, develop skills and abilities, very pertinent in the training of professionals in the dental area.
