Soft skills in the pre-professional practice of the clinical psychologist: perspective from educational actors

The clinical psychologist in his daily actions, in dealing with his patients, is imbued with a series of requirements from the contexts in which he works; spaces that permanently test indispensable skills related to attentive listening and empathy; skills considered of vital importance. The objective of the research was to analyze the perspective of the participating educational actors on the development of soft skills in the professional practice of the Clinical Psychology student, and to propose an approach from the academy to foster these skills. The methodology applied was descriptive, cross-sectional; a survey validated by experts was used with a Cronbach's Alpha of 0.940. The results report the need to address relational ethics, emotional stability and the development of critical thinking.
