Abstract

The objective is to promote didactic strategies that generate an environmental culture of solid waste reduction for elementary school students of the Institución Educativa Distrital Técnica de Minca, in favor of a cleaner and less polluted school environment. The work was based on the methodology Action Research Participation. Didactic strategies were promoted that generated an environmental culture of solid waste reduction for elementary school students of the Institución Educativa Distrital Técnica de Minca, in favor of a cleaner and less polluted school environment, with the participation of fourth and fifth grade students who were the key informants and the educational community in general. This project allowed the promotion of didactic strategies that facilitated the creation of pertinent educational processes favoring the appropriation of an environmental culture that contributed to the solution of environmental problems in the Institution.
