Mediation in university education as a tool for harmonious coexistence

The general objective of the research was to analyze mediation in university education as a tool for harmonious coexistence. It revolved around the positivist paradigm, from a quantitative perspective with a documentary-bibliographic approach, which allowed generating new knowledge on the approach to the topic studied. The review of refereed works and graduate theses allowed the analysis and interpretation for the subsequent formulation of new ideas. The contributions made by the authors in the field of mediation, suggest various strategies to develop and establish in educational institutions, involving the entire educational management team in harmony with the students. It is concluded that universities, schools, colleges and all spheres of education together with the management teams, represent the spaces that should promote coexistence scenarios in each of its members; generating strategies that allow the development of non-violence, encouraging positive attitudes.
