Organizational commitment of middle management in Institutional Public Health

Abstract

The general objective of the research was to analyze the level of organizational commitment of health personnel at the middle management level in institutional public health. From a quantitative perspective, a cross-sectional, observational, non-experimental and descriptive study was carried out through the application of a survey, which was sent individually to each research subject, comprising 57 people. A descriptive analysis was carried out by obtaining frequencies to observe the responses to each of the items, and an analysis was also carried out taking into account the demographic variables. As a result, it was determined that the level of organizational commitment does not exceed 60 percent, being the affective dimension the one with the highest positive tendency. It is concluded that the level of commitment in this unit was medium in general, with the affective sections being the most influential.
