Burnout Syndrome: Approach to relatives of the nursing staff of the Portoviejo specialty hospital

The objective of the research work is to diagnose Burnout Syndrome in relatives of the nursing staff of the Portoviejo specialty hospital, located in the Portoviejo canton of the Manabí province of Ecuador, in order to generate an analysis of their perspective in relation to the subject, it will be possible to have scientific data that contribute to managing processes of psychological accompaniment, family orientation, as well as, enable the incorporation of the families of the nursing staff, in the various strategies designed by the Ecuadorian state to attend to public health to starting with the eradication of COVID -19. A non-experimental cross-sectional descriptive observational investigation was used in a sample of 73 families of the nursing staff. It is concluded that the confinement by COVID-19 and the closeness to the nursing staff in their family life, contribute to the generation of a favorable emotional state to suffer Burnout.
