Methodological strategy for the application of educational platforms in Basic General Education

This research was carried out with teachers from the “Amalia Urigüen” Fiscomisional Educational Unit of the Déleg canton, Province of Cañar-Ecuador. The objective that was raised in the following research topic is to analyze a learning environment based on methodological strategies for the application of virtual educational platforms in the professional development of teachers in the educational unit, the research problem aims to inquire about the methods that teachers are applying in classrooms in these times of confinement towards students. The research is of a mixed approach, descriptive with a non-experimental design. The results show that teachers know technological applications, but do not apply correctly. Based on these results, it is proposed to carry out a training on the use of resources for Basic General Education (EGB).
