Challenges of education: Perspectives from educational students and fathers

The objective of the study was to analyze the application of ICT by educational actors in times of pandemic, as a learning strategy to promote quality education. Methodologically descriptive with a non-experimental design. The population was 98 students of various grades such as 4th, 6th, 7th and 8th of basic belonging to the Luis Cordero Educational Unit, located in the center of the city of Azogues in the Province of Cañar-Ecuador. Technology in times of pandemic is the fundamental resource necessary to generate continuity in the educational process, due to the transformation that the educational system had to undertake. ICTs contribute to autonomous learning in students, turning them into researchers and generators of knowledge according to their tastes and needs, and their digital culture is very useful.
