Strengthening the functions of the community service advisor

Abstract

The general purpose is to strengthen the functions of the community service advisor of the Department of Community Work in the ADI-UNEFM Modality Medicine Program. It is framed in the critical reflexive paradigm under the participatory action research method. The social subjects that participate as co-researchers in all the phases of the process of this study: advisory teachers, Coordinators, of the Department of Community Work of the Medicine Program under the ADI-UNEFM modality and Director of the Medicine and Dean Program ( a) of the Health Sciences Area. Information gathering techniques were used: brainstorming, SWOT matrix, problem tree, unstructured interviews, participant observation. The certified teachers of the Health Sciences area of the UNEFM will be integrated into the advisory team of the Coordination of the referred area, and will continue their continuous training process, developing with the students the community service projects.
