Resumen

El objetivo es evaluar el manejo del diagnóstico de influenza aviar e identificar las aves migratorias en la provincia Granma. Se revisaron los registros estadísticos del departamento de Sanidad Animal del Ministerio de la Agricultura. La población de estudio incluyó las especies avícolas registradas en la provincia (n=1742 535). Se evaluó la bioseguridad en el cumplimiento de los planes de desastres y el programa de lucha y control de Influenza Aviar. Además, se identificaron las principales especies de aves migratorias, para lo cual se empleó la metodología del sistema de vigilancia epizoótica en el país, a partir del análisis territorial de la amenaza de riesgo y vulnerabilidad en puntos de captura. Se identificaron las principales especies de aves migratorias y se determinó que a pesar de la gestión adecuada del diagnóstico y control de la Influenza aviar, existen brechas que podrían posibilitar la penetración de enfermedades.
