Abstract

The research used was participatory action, which allowed the development, transformation, understanding and active participation in decision-making of the Los Arenales communities, Miranda municipality of the Falcón state in Venezuela. The theoretical foundation was from Vásquez (1999), under the socio-critical paradigm and action research method of Silva (2000) and Ander Egg (2003). The technique used was observation in a dialectic of social consensus between 2014-2017. Its population was willing to participate by getting involved as promoters of their own actions; By providing information on popular knowledge, which they have managed to resist since time immemorial to remain in culture and understand reality, citizens assumed their role as a social promoter in an active way in society. With the research, the transformation of cultural formation and the improvement of human quality was achieved, participation was encouraged to learn to live together, strengthen traditions, rescue diversity, and its knowledge.
