Child labor: Exploration of the lack of knowledge of the rights of children and adolescents

The general objective of the research was to legally analyze child labor: Exploration of the lack of knowledge of the rights of children and adolescents. The approach taken by the researchers for the development of the method was based on the quantitative approach, through inquiry, collection and critical analysis of documents and bibliographic references, based on the methodical, rigorous and in-depth exploration of various documentary sources consisting of articles, theses, regulations and laws, among others, describing the findings. Documentary review was used as a technique in the research. The inductive-deductive method was also used. A survey was applied to 32 local people by digital means. It is concluded that it is necessary to promote collaboration between different actors, such as governmental institutions, non-governmental organizations, the private sector and civil society, to work together in the identification and attention of child labor cases.
