The general objective of the research was to legally analyze the incidence of family coexistence during the sanitary emergency in contraventions of domestic violence. It was based on the quantitative approach, through the search, collection and critical analysis of documents, bibliographic references, studies or research projects, from the interpretation of law. In this case, the research technique applied was the documentary review of legal texts, doctrine and norms related to the topic of study. In addition to the review of statistics on the rates of increase of cases of domestic violence. It is concluded that, in Ecuador the eradication of all acts and forms of violence against women and members of the family has been a constant struggle, but despite all these efforts until today there are still very high rates of violence.
