Abstract

The research work refers to the discrimination suffered by women in indigenous communities in the processes of sanction and application of indigenous justice, as they are not allowed to be part of the decision making process. The research work is based on the fact that women are not allowed to be part of the decision-making process. Unfortunately, in Ecuador, in spite of having a constitution that guarantees rights, there are still racist lags and discrimination against women, the methods used are descriptive with bibliographic review.  The lines of research are challenges perspectives and improvement of legal sciences in Ecuador, the doctrinal legal system, historical, theoretical, philosophical and constitutional assumptions, as a proposal an analysis of the issue raised is proposed.
