Consequences of domestic violence in Ecuador

Domestic violence is a very frequent problem in Ecuadorian families, especially involving children, adolescents and generally mothers. Those who have suffered physical or psychological aggression by their parents are considered vulnerable groups. It should be noted that the objective of this article is to analyze domestic violence as a problem that exists worldwide based especially in Ecuadorian families, for this we used the descriptive method with documentary analysis conducting surveys that help us to know and understand their current situation. The consequences of domestic violence will be made known, knowing that this affects society in a negative way. In our country, the Organic Penal Code recognizes different types of domestic violence, and establishes comprehensive reparations that ensure the safety of the victim and the respective sanctions. Domestic violence has as a consequence a problem in the development and integrity of the affected person.
