Child labor and its impact on the right to education

The general objective of this research was to legally analyze child labor and its consequences on the right to education. It was developed from the quantitative paradigm, and it was also framed from a documentary-bibliographic design, since it analyzes and studies a series of data obtained related to the subject. In addition, the analytical-synthetic method was applied, which studies the facts, starting from the decomposition of the object of study in each of its parts. A questionnaire was elaborated, consisting of a set of questions prepared for the purpose of obtaining information. The survey was applied to a group of 5 people. It is concluded that the consequences of child labor are that in the canton of Quevedo, the minimum age for work is not respected because it has been detected that in several types of work there are children under 15 years of age.
