The general objective of this research was to legally analyze air pollution by buses, to the detriment of health, Quevedo, Ecuador. This study was developed from the quantitative paradigm of documentary-bibliographic type. In the research, legal documents, norms and agreements, refereed works, among others, were examined, extracting relevant information, contributing to obtain information and generate knowledge. It is concluded that, the procedure of environmental protection, on air pollution by the operation of cantonal buses to the detriment of health, in the Canton Quevedo - Ecuador, is an action to prevent the violation of rights such as health and ecologically balanced environment, because it is necessary to take sustainable actions and to achieve an effective control by the State, of the effective protection demanded by the Magna Carta.
